This is a picture of the 1969 'White Lightnings' at practice. It was taken in right field at Veterans Field, next to Corning. This was the only year my two brothers (Mark and Gary) and I were all on the same team because of age restrictions. It is interesting to note that this team was the FIRST one former Charleroi football stand-out, Don Saunders EVER coached. He went onto coach Bill Cower, at Carlynton High School. I think Don, only coached in 1969 and again, in 1970 (my last year), but I could be wrong. I did the best I could with the names.
