In addition to those inductees, Bernard T. Sarra Sr., who is credited with leading the rebirth of the Hall of Fame in 1996, also is a graduate of Charleroi High School. Mr. Sarra, who died at age 94 on January 4, 2007, served as Chairman of the Hall of Fame Board of Directors from 1995 to 2003.
